First established 25 years ago in Ashburton, expanding into Newton Abbot and then Exeter, Silver Lion Jewellers is now independent from both the other shops and is now owned and managed by Louise Wraith who has worked in the Exeter store for the past 12 years.
Since purchasing the business in 2003, Louise has expanded to include an in-house workshop which is home to Brian Brownsell and his apprentice Jenny Hubbard. Brian has over 35 years experience and produces unique gold jewellery which can not be found anywhere else. His style has an interwoven and organic style which incorporates unusual stones. Jenny is developing her own style and is producing unique silver jewellery.
In addition to the metal jewellery made in-house, Louise creates her own style of beaded jewellery mainly using silver beads and some incorporating precious faceted stone beads and gold. Again these peices will not be found anywhere else.
Silver Lion Jewellers also stock a wide range of other peices handmade from around the world which they pride themselves in picking 'one off' and those not widely available.
The team at Silver Lion are able to accomodate any repairs or alterations to jewellery brought in.
